Jacqueline Prestwood
District Council candidate for Cannock North

“If elected to represent Cannock North my priorities will be to ensure that phase 3 of the Stadium progresses, and also to support the Bevan Lee Community Centre and all the activities run from there. I also have great concerns about the Tory County Council plans to charge for parking on Cannock Chase and will oppose them at every opportunity.”
Jacquie moved to Cannock as a child and is married with two grown up children. Originally from a mining family, she has worked in the Civil Service all her working life and her current role is as a mobile Advisor for customers who need extra support.
As well as working full time Jacquie works as a volunteer with many local organisations including as a School governor, Food Bank volunteer, on the Safer Neighbourhood panel, SpeedWatch volunteer and as a Mental Health Champion with Cannock Chase Mental Health hub.
Jacquie has strong Labour values and hopes to bring all the skills and experience gained both in her career and helping local people to good use if elected to represent Cannock North on the District Council.
